If you’re native to Philadelphia, one of the most popular streets you will hear of is Main Street. Just 20 minutes away from Center City, Main Street proves to be one of the largest attractions in all of Manayunk. Famous for its food, night life, and diversity, it’s a part of the city that welcomes all types of folk.
This weekend, it opens its streets to one of the largest outdoor arts festivals in the DelawareValley, the Manayunk Arts Festival. Every year this two-day event brings thousands of people looking for art, culture, and fun. This will be the 23rd time the festival has graced Main Street, making it a true Manayunk tradition hard to follow.
On Saturday (from 11 a.m.-7 p.m) to Sunday (from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.) the
Historic Main Street will be closed off to traffic from Green Lane to Shurs Lane, which making the festival 10 blocks long, with over 300 artists and crafter from all over the nation!
