We had the pleasure of getting up-close-and-personal with Stuart Cohen. Stuart is a ball of energy and you have to be quick witted and light on your feet to keep up with him. He plays a vital role on the Mike McCann team as an Investment and Development Sales Specialist. Mixing business, style and a lot of personality, Stuart is both motivated and motivational, making it clear that no matter what this business throws his way, he will not be stopped. Personal History
I am a native Philadelphian and it makes me really happy to be able to work in the city that I was born and raised in. I feel like my intimate knowledge of this city has really contributed to my overall success. I studied marketing at Penn State and am currently studying at Temple University in order to build on my knowledge and skills. I have 28 years of Real Estate experience, representing investors, developers and my own portfolio. I worked with a number of great companies before landing at the Mike McCann Team and, right now, I am really loving the energy and team spirit here.
Why Real Estate?
Simply put, I want to provide the dream. Also, I genuinely enjoy the work and putting deals together. You can’t describe the feeling of seeing someone so elated by a transaction.
Why Philly?
Of course, I am a native with a lot of passion for this city and the people I get to work with. I love everything this city has to offer and just being in the city every day. I get to eat all of the best food and go to some of the coolest places around. I love it all.
Off the Job
If I am not working, I am busy living life! I love spending time with my two boys, Eric and Zachary. I love boating, scuba diving and travelling.
Success tips
I have been through some rough times in this business, particularly around 2008 with the market crash. Through those harder moments, I just kept going and showing up to work. I learned to work hard and to work smart no matter what the circumstances. You just have to keep pushing yourself and keep moving forward.
Future plans
I want to keep growing in this business. I may even want to develop some properties myself!
