Watch out, Philly! It looks like Fishtown is getting down this Saturday, the 11th! The River City Festival is coming up and this event is no joke. For seven years this festival has brought live music, lots and lots of beer, family fun and delicious food to Penn Treaty Park. Whether you are bringing the kids, partaking in the endless happy hour, watching the live entertainment or participating in the RiverCity Run, you are sure to have an absolute blast.
Kids will enjoy a moon bounce, arts and crafts, a hula hoop performance, games, magic shows, the Philadelphia Zoo-on-Wheels and more. After a day packed with this many activities, you will have no trouble putting them to bed at night! The festival is booked solid with vendors, food trucks and brewing companies so you will have no problem eating, drinking or being merry. WXPN is bringing a ton of awesome bands to rock Penn Treaty and their diverse and impressive lineup will surely keep the party going! If you athletic, semi athletic or attempting to be athletic, make sure you sign up for the 5K fun run for a little fitness before the festivities.
