Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Summer Concert Series

It’s that time of the year again! Dani Mari and and Reverend TJ McGlinchey are hosting a monthly concert series at Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park this summer. This Friday, you can find Thom McCarthy and the Toy Soldiers performing. Free of charge and set to begin at 7:00 pm, it will have arts, crafts, and food for the whole family.
Located in South Philly, at 1800 Pattinson Ave near the stadiums.

Sister Cities Park Presents Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s Tree Philly Program

Sister Cities is quickly becoming known for their wide variety of fun and free programs. Held all week long (weather permitting), and on their beautifully landscaped grass, they pride themselves on holding all types of events, made for all ages.
Every Friday, through August 24th, you’ll find Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s Tree Philly program staff hosting games and crafts that give the essential 101 on trees and why they’re so important to us and the city. This program is designed for kids ages 4 to 10.
Located at 18th and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, in the Art Museum Area.
