Over the course of two days, 275 artists from as many as 23 states and from around the world bring the culture of arts and crafts to the collectors, buyers and designers of our region.
Whether you’re looking for jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting, glass, mixed media – or just a fun day out – then come on down to the Manayunk Arts Festival. The festival, exhibited down the gorgeous tree-lined and historic Main Street, is graciously hosted by the shops, restaurants, and businesses of Manayunk, and is estimated to attract over 175,000 attendees this year.
While shopping, attendees can enjoy the delicious dishes and specials being served up by Manayunk’s award winning restaurants, or sample traditional festival foods on offer by various vendors. With so many choices, there is sure to be a flavor to fit every taste. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to visit the beautiful shops, galleries, spas and boutiques lining Main Street, which will be open throughout the weekend.
Manayunk is a quaint, historic town nestled along the banks of the Schuylkill River and the Manayunk Canal. Located just minutes from Center City, King of Prussia and the Main Line, the region is home to more than 13 million people. Manayunk was given the distinction of being named a National Historic District in 1983. If that honor weren’t enough, in 2008, Manayunk was declared a “Classic Town” by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and the City of Philadelphia.
