This Monday, November 25th, Cuba Libre will transform its traditional Cuban flavorful menu into a Filipino pop-up dinner to benefit those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Starting at 5 pm, executive chef Jasper Alivia and food writer Drew Lazor, both of Flipino descent, will offer a four course menu for only $35. 100% of profits will go to the American Red Cross.
Menu items will include:
- Pulutan, small bites for the table to share;
- Sabaw, oxtail and vegetable soup
- Ulam, the main entrée, with pork, chicken and fish dishes available
- Minatamis, dessert selections of a key lime tartlet or peanut brittle.
Enjoy a meal all while supporting a wonderful cause.
Cuba Libre is located in Old City, at 10 S. 2nd Street.
