Ties are nice, but this Father’s Day, it might be fun to do something just a little different. Take a look at our personal suggestions on where to take Dad this Sunday… or any day really!
1. Xfinity Live (South Philadelphia)
Right next to the stadiums, this newly built sports haven will let Dad eat Chickies fries, grab a cold beer, and allow for some great bonding.
2. Phillies tickets
Need we say more? Visit here and enjoy the old ball game!
3. LondonGrill (Art Museum)
Give him the meat that he deserves and take him to the neighborhood’s favorite place to grab a steak. Offering both brunch and dinner, and the chance to make your own Bloody Mary’s, Dad will sure to be extra thankful.
4. Bike rides along Boat House Row (Art Museum)
It’s the simple things: fresh air, bike trails, and good times. See the Schuykill River pass before your eyes as you bike along and spend time with Dad.
5-6. All you can eat… anything (Center City)

7. All Aboard the cheesesteak tour bus! (Reading Terminal Market)
Hosted at the Reading Terminal Market and by Carolyn Wyman, “The Taste of Philly Food Tour,” cheesesteak eddition features a 75-minute tour of the Reading Terminal, tells the historic tale of the cheesesteak, its evolution, and ends with many variations of the iconic food.
8. Brewed brotherly love (Northern Liberties)
Philadelphia’s own Yards Brewing Company offers Free Brewery Tours every Saturday and Sunday between noon and 4 PM. Learn the hop ins and outs, while partaking in a sample… or two.
9. A boat and a buffet?
The Spirit of Philadelphia is having a Father’s Day special, with live music, a loaded buffet, great company, complete with a breathtaking view on the coolest mobile deck in Philly.
10. LOL with him!
Take him to one of Philly’s finest comedy clubs, where he can hear comedians from near and far away, and laugh any stress away. Take a look at the lineup here.
